What to Expect

At Bethel, we come together as a community to worship and learn about Jesus. Our Sunday morning worship includes prayer, singing, a time for children and, most important, Pastor Paul shares a challenging message from God’s word. We’re imperfect people striving to become more like Jesus and live according to his example daily.  We are a friendly, loving church who desires to serve our community.  You will find many opportunities to serve here at Bethel.  We invite you to join us!

WHAT IS YOUR SUNDAY SERVICE LIKE?

Each Sunday at Bethel you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our music blends some of the traditional hymns with contemporary choruses. Most sermons are direct teachings from the Bible with topical messages as needed. Pastor Paul’s desire is to challenge us to grow in our relationship with Jesus and become more Christ-like. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality kid’s program.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile, and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICE?

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our weekend service. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Bethel is not about what you look like or what you wear. Our focus is about who you are going to become in Jesus.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

At Bethel, your children are a top priority. Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers for infants up to 3 years old. Older kids are offered age appropriate classes on Sunday mornings. We also have a youth group for all teens that meets on Wednesday evenings.

HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?

There are many ways to get involved. In addition to Sunday Service at 10:45am and Bible Study at 9:30am, we offer monthly men’s and women’s meetings as well as all-church picnics and potlucks. You can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
